Our oldest students need a thorough understanding of their science subjects, so out come the dissection kits for worms, frogs, eyes and other body parts! This is not for the screamish! Soil sampling, rock testing, smoke bombs and other chemical experiments abound. We strive to lecture less and experiment more in our suite of science classes, so that students can truly understand the concepts that they are learning. This is not test prep – this is truly an experimental approach to science. You can use your own text book to augment the lessons learned in class to provide an even deeper experience.
